Neemesh Shah, a Co-Founder of KNS Architects, is a dynamic force in the realm of design. With an official degree in Architecture, his early exposure to design through his father’s interior design work sparked his passion. As one of the three partners at KNS Architects, celebrating their 25th anniversary, Neemesh has gained industry recognition for his exceptional designs in restaurants, bars, homes, and offices.

Accolades in Interior Design and Architecture, both nationally and internationally, attest to his prowess. He’s dedicated to realizing his vision of creating innovative design concepts and green spaces while contributing to India’s skyline with modern and futuristic structures, experimenting with new materials, forms, and technologies.

Neemesh’s daily drive is fueled by his love for people and design. He excels in creating designs that not only function effectively but also resonate with his clients’ needs and visions.

His soft-spoken demeanor contrasts with his monumental achievements, reflecting in his versatile and individualistic designs. Notably, he transformed a 7,000 sq. ft. canvas into a restaurant-bar with various sections, a 30-foot library, and vintage aesthetics that cater to diverse moods.

Neemesh attributes his success to his dedicated team, who share his flexibility, active listening, problem-solving skills, and positive attitude. He believes that today’s open-minded and technology-exposed clientele are more appreciative of innovative designs.

Outside of work, Neemesh finds inspiration in nature, diverse music, and travel. He rejuvenates with sports like Tennis and Golf, and family time is a cherished part of his daily routine.

Shresht, co-founder of KNS Architects established 25+ years ago, stands as a pivotal figure in India’s new age design philosophy. Having worked on a project creating a passage through architectural styles of India over the ages, along with exposure to the prevalent architectural trends, his influence comes from a varied spectrum. He has handled projects of various scales be it interior to architecture in India. His dedication to infusing creativity into every endeavor defines his practice. His vision extends to making India a global design destination, and he actively works to demystify design, making it accessible to a diverse audience.

Shresht’s journey began working with a contracting firm whilst schooling to get hands-on experience of the intricacies and details of working on a site. His passion lies in seeing designs materialize, and his blueprints transform spaces into expressions. Travel has been a great source of inspiration too, be it local or international, each journey is a new learning experience of various architectural languages.

Design as per Shresht is contextual and sensitive, emphasizing the interplay of functionality and aesthetics. He believes very strongly ‘IN THE POWER OF THE PENCIL’- One line on paper can translate into a tangible creation that not only facilitates human interaction but also evokes diverse responses. Beyond work, his love for sports, family, dogs, and fine cuisine shapes his life. Going by his father’s words, “each day is a new beginning”, he goes along with an unwavering commitment to turning dreams into reality through design.
